Maria-Christina joined Gasco Goodhue St-Germain in 2021. Her practice will be primarily focused on drafting legal opinions and proceedings and representing clients of the firm before civil courts in matters of insurance law and civil liability.
Called to the Bar of Quebec in 2017, Maria-Christina began her career in the litigation department of the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec. Over the course of her career, Maria-Christina has practiced in various fields of law such as civil liability, insurance law, and administrative law, all of which allow her to regularly plead before the different courts of Québec.
Maria-Christina obtained her Bachelor of Laws, her Juris Doctor in North American common law, and her Master of Laws in comparative common law from the Université de Montréal. She also holds a certificate in Chinese law from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing.
Mindful of the importance of volunteer work, Maria-Christina is actively involved in the Bar of Montreal’s Administrative Justice Committee as well as the Pro Bono and Legal Services Committee of the Young Bar of Montreal for which she is responsible for the Labor Law sub-committee. For several years she served on the board of directors of a non-profit organization.
